How do you remove center console?
I'm guessing the seach is disabled...
How do you remove all the buttons (hazard, auto climate, rear defroster) buttons. I know you start off at the top air vent, i'm guessing. Does anybody have any pictures? Any help would do please.

Start at the top and pull the center vent piece out towards you. Just use something that will fit in the space between the climate control and the center vent piece to lift the the vent piece up a little and then just pull it out gently. Then, the piece where the shifter is just pops out if you pull it up gently. Make sure to do it slowly so you don't end up loosing any clips that hold it in place. You'll see a screw that holds the ashtray in place to the left of it, also there are two clips on the right side which you can't really see that also hold the ashtray in place. You'll need to open the tray inorder for it to come out. From there on it's pretty obvious just look for screws above the climate control and by where the ashtray was.
Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.

there are some great pictures and instructions on carstereohelp.com. i found removing the center console in my maxima a bit trickier than other cars i have worked with.
you also might want to mask off the dash to the right of the console space with a piece of cloth... i got a couple scratches from the sharp back of the console due to short wires and no place to rest it...
