Newb B pipe question

Newb B pipe question
what is the function of the B pipe. Is it like the same as Y pipe, give more air flow and 10-20hp

a b pipe will provide better exhaust flow but wont give near the power of a b pipe. ive heard anywhere from 2-5hp for a complete b pipe with either 2.25 or 2.5 piping.

it's also known as the "midpipe", located after the cat, before the muffler. u won't be gettin a lot of HP/torque without other components of the exhaust system, especially the Y. start from there

sorry to do this on your thread but if i have a y-pipe how much would a high flow cat and a b-pipe add.

for the cat, i say 1-2 maybe. for the b, id say with the y pipe, cat in uppers of the numbers i said before.
