How do you remove paint stripes?
I removed mine with a hairdryer and naptha oil (found at any hardware store). Heated the stripes with the hairdryer, poured on a little naptha and peeled em right off. Worked really well, then I cleaned, polished and waxed to get rid of the shadow.
Man... I wished I posted a post about this, me and my friend did mine last Friday, the fender line came off within a minute, there on it took 3 hours... all with the nail. Than goo gone to wash away the glue... hey no damaged paint or no shadows so its all good.
painted on stripe i think u need to have them wet sand it off, then reapply clear coat, i was gonna do the same, but it seems like its under my clear coat on one of my fenders, the rest is a sticker, so it sucks
i tried gettin estimate at body shop to remove it , they say its not worth it, its will cost almost the same as painting whole car, then again he is a ripoff anyway and could just be sayin it?

Just to clear things up, I was talking about a painted-on stripe, not the tape-type. Is that the same one you are talking about?
