JWT about 10-15 hp. GForce maybe 5-10. JWT is nice...it raises your rev limiter as well to 7200 RPM. GForce doesn't. Hope you have a '95 or '96 however...they only make them for those years.

Uhh, G-Force ECU's are more aggressive than JWT. You'd better switch those numbers around.

JWT raises it to 7000, not 72000. I noticed quite a large difference with my JWT ecu. I have heard better things about JWT than I have about GForce.

JWT raises the limiter to what you tell them to raise it to. Most people do 7000, Neal did 7200. Your valvetrain is your own.

I've heard that G-Force is a bit more agressive in their timing/fuel than JWT is. Anyhow the ECU is sweet, Requin6 dyno'd his a few months back you might be able to find it but without the search it will be difficult. He got like 8 peak hp and 10 peak tq, iirc he got about 10hp and 12lb tq in the midrange rpms.

i talked with the gforce people on the phone and they said something about a 20lb tq gain at 3400 rpms...i wasnt too sure on that one but it feels good and noticeable...they wouldnt quote HP gains though. Im dying to know what i gained

i believe it could be very close to that. i rode in VQdriver's car a few days ago. he has GFORCE, y pipe, racing pipe, catback, intake, UDP for power mods. his car is tons faster than mine. low end grunt in his car was amazing!! he ran 14.05 on street tires! BTW he has a '97

Just to add some info. My '96 G-force ECU in my '97 gained +8 fwhp/+10 fwtq @ 4500rpm. all bolt-on's but no MEVI.

thats all....its not bad but i feel it more around 3500 then 4500. I feel more gain up top from the ecu than the y pipe

I'm not quite sure, but if I decide to go w/ MEVI, is the JWT ECU a must have?

If the GEFORCE ECU is a better power adder than the JWT ECU and it is also cheaper... then why aren't most people (if not everyone) getting the GEFORCE?

you can click the link in my sig to check out the mods that accompany the ECU. this is a great mod and well worth the wait and money. with the VI its a monster.

96 works in my 98 just fine, I do get a CEL, but I prefer function over form, so the light dosent bother me for the gains.

thats because with the JWT is raises your redline to whatever you want it to be and with the mevi the car will actually make power up that high. If you have no plans on getting an mevi and can find a cheap used gforce like i did then go for it

I got a JWT one and cant wait to get the MEVI because I hear "ALL THE HYPE" about how the ECU isnt that much worth it unless you got a MEVI..

oh i think the JWT ECU is definately worth it without the MEVI. its just a great combo when you do add the VI.
