Hey guys,

 

By accident I sent the form in but anyway my car had this problem weekley where it would start for a half a second than turn off. Now this started to happen more often and today when I started it, it turned on very weirldly with the RPM going from 500 to 1100 up and down in park without pressing on the gas pedal with a noise that sounded like some was accelerating on and off. Than when I went outside, there was a strong gas smell. I also check my belts for tension before and they are fine and checked my battery and its fine. So it's either my alternator or a misfire. My friend says it's a misfire, what do you guys think?

Could be a dirty throttle body.
