its a great kit and a great price
but.... like he said its made out of fiberglass and if you hit something then your gonna pay
but... there coming out with the same kit in urethane soo its gonna be alot stronger and more durable
i like the look of the type m bumper too but i would like to see what it looks like on a car before can give a full evaluation

yeah fiberglass is risking shattering if you get into a fender bender or something... you could pay the $850 for a urethane one that's goin on in the group deal section (MaxxTuningUSA).

maybe you can get just the skyline front in urethane and the rest in fiberglass. That's a pretty good combo.

Is it worth just getting the front in urethane and the rest in fiberglass? Do the back or sides usually scrape at all?

not really unless u were to get hit from the side or rear ended... but if u were to get damage on the rear, the other guys insurance will have to cover for it.

front is where all the rocks and debris fly at u... i dunno how much more it'd cost but might as well go that way.

because Ange is selling her kit cheaper. they had to lower prices to keep up with competition.

If you're going to pay that much for a kit in the first place, why not spend the extra cash and get it in urethane, so you don't have to spend extra money later on.

the new Skyline kit is well made compared to some early models I have seen...the fitment should be "right on" for 97-99 model cause they used my car for tester...and after speaking with the maker...they were very happy with the molds...

although a direct fit may not be always possible...I remember Shadow's analysis of the early Sarona kit...he said it was not a bolt-on...and that his body shop called it the "worst fitting/made" body kit they had ever seen...

but the resulting work I think was quite worth the cost he paid...cause his car is slamming.
