Not trying to call you a dumb a*s, but did you check the bulb?
I don't have my service manual handy, but someone else with an electrical diagram can probably help you. I would recommend you spend the $15 and get a Haynes (or equivalent) manual that has a lot of information, including electrical diagrams. It makes troubleshooting a lot easier.
