LSD 4th gen question

if I was to buy an LSD from a canadian nissan dealer (not the whole tranny, just the diff) could I install it inside my US tranny???

As long as the tranny code is RS5F50V that the diff comes from.

Last time I checked, it was round $900+. With my discount, I believe it was round $7-8 sumthin, still more then I'm willing to pay for just a differential.

Unfortunately, the transmission case is different, too. It would probably be cheaper (and better) to go with a Quaife.
