newly paint job

how much will i be looking for if i want a newly custom paint job..my car is white now but looking to get a nice blue color...anyone know any shops in md

makko..$600+ they dont take off old paint, use tape to "protect" engine bay, windows ect. will probably flake off at the tape edges after 2 years.

good paint job 2-5k- removing all body parts, sanding down old paint and primering over sheet metal.

good paint jobs are all bout the work that goes in before the paint not the actauly paint itself.

I just had the hood repainted on my 99 Superblack Max (hood removed, sanded down to metal) and it was $515 here in NJ. I'm guessing $2,500 to do the whole car.

hmm, well i was quoted about 350(for my previous car) to repaint my hood (Was getting SS scoop molded on), repaint my rear bumper and spoiler. It was also a tri-layer color, which i believe is slightly more expensive. So id guess AT LEAST 1K. I would only use a cheap 400-600 dollar paint job if you just want your car to look decent, as in not show or new car quality, just decent...
