Installation of 95-96 Stillen Lip...

How did everyone attach the Stillen Lip? I know you use double sided tape and some screws, but where on the lip do I place the tape and where am I suppose to drill a screw? I dont see where a screw would go. Help.

Re: Installation of 95-96 Stillen Lip...

there is a little ridge under the lip that a screw will go into (up into the bumper) and then add tape where the lip butts into the bumper... it is the worst fitting lip in the world

WORST FITTING LIP IN THE WORLD ! O NO ! I HAD made plans to do a stillen front lip on my max, but i need things to work. is this true ? what should i get to go with my sarona rear and side skirts. i still may go with the stillen lip but i have no experience with putting on these parts ...

I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. The poor fitment only affects the 95-96s. the 97-99s have a piece to hang on to. The 96-96s are just taped or glued on.

I remember when Cashj was installing his and he just drilled into the sides where it overlaps the wheel well. Then he epoxied the middle to the bumper.

Re: Re: Re: Installation of 95-96 Stillen Lip...

you can drill directly into the front of the lip... this will work or you can crawl under the car andjust beyond the lowest part of the lip there is a ridge you can screw directly up into the bumper.... and yes the 97-99 lips are attached nicely...
