you should get something close to 200psi for a compression test, but your air source will max out at 120-150psi.
The cylinders will always leak a little - it's not like you're looking for 0% leak after an hour... The trick is to figure out WHERE it's leaking TO. Watch for bubbles in the radiator, listen at the exhaust, intake and dipstick for hissing...

140-200 is the very low to very high acceptable range. most people get around 175 at sea level. 200+ is not uncommon, but indicates a significantly higher compression ration than the 10:1 that the engine is designed for.
