I installed my new leather boots today. I got them from Best Shift Boots for $50. There was a group deal on the ORG a few weeks ago for the shift and e-brake combo, that's how I got mine. They look great!

Buy a 5-speed. They have a **** that is easier to remove, and more fun to drive.

Does a shift boot from BestShiftBoots.com look just like the OEM shift boot?

bb0ys, the boot looks totally different. The boots from BestShiftBoots.com are leather while the OEM boots you have are vinyl. It would be best if you went ahead and got the pair. They look great and they were pretty easy to install.

Definitly go with momo. I have the same shift **** as StygianMax, with the momo shift boot to match. It is perfect, I get compliments allll the time. The shift boot from momo actually screws into the Race Air Leather shift ****. It might be a little more cash but it's well worth it.

the shift **** in sig. is allright, but no offence, i personally have hard time even trusting big companies.....(btw, does it have a screw or threads to keep it in place?)

ps. this is the one i was looking at, MOMO ANATOMICO (short, black leather)

also, i should be recieving my boot in mail soon. they say it's real italian leather.

The momo shift know has screws to hold it in place. They have never loosened on me yet, like other cheaper brands. I have to take pics of mine to show you the quality. I have a B&M short throw shifter, with the momo shift know and boot. It comes together beautifully. The boot itself actually screws into the momo ****. It looks better then any that I have seen yet.

I'm gonna have to go with Ian and say Team Voodoo. You can get a non-engraved one for under $40 I believe (save some compared to momo) and don't have to deal with the janky universal screws, if you get a miata-made one, it will thread right in.

Mad Dahn has been on here quite some time, and many people have purchased shift ***** from him, so don't worry getting jacked. I believe he can make one custom for you too.
