The phrase 4DSC (four door sports car) came out with the VE engine in the 3rd generation maximas (1992). When the 4th gen maxima was for sale, nissan used those commercials with that old asian guy and the low rider song. I think "Nissan....Driven" was also a popular phrase in the end of their commercials.

i 'member that... wasn't he some actor guy?

Oh, and the famous 1999 "pigeon air force" maxima commercial ends with the old guy with glasses, the lil dog, and "Enjoy the Ride"

I heard someone say that the old guy was the father of the Z and they sent him over here with the Datsun brand hoping he'd mess it up so they could get rid of him. Dunno if it's true or not.

I thought the 4 door sports car was for the 1st/2nd gen maxes.

yes, the inifiniti guy sucked. He scared me.

The pigeon air force was the best commercial ever.

I don't think the old guy was the father of the Z, Mr. K (i think katayama)
He's highly liked in the nissan world

I'm not recalling the infiniti commercials, you mean the ones where the QX4 is climbing the steps?

I just read the actual story.. Mr. K is the character in the commercials based loosely on the real Mr. Katayama, father of the Z.

The infiniti commercials are where it would be a white room with the Infiniti car there and the brit accent ***** dressed in all black
