need to know what size lugs

my friend and i were in the process of putting rims and tires on his car. The rims he got were THESE RIMS and the stock lugnuts won't work because the socket won't fit down in there with the lugnuts on the new rims. Can someone please help to figure out which ones we need.

This is a crazy idea, but it could work. Try boring out the hole.

Try McGard spline drive lug-nuts. Their outer dia. should be small enough. Time to pull out the good ol' ruler. The thread pitch you need is 1.25 (NOT 1.5!)

I have a set of spline drives on my wheels. They are def. smaller than sock. It uses a special splined key for every nut. The key is much smaller in diameter than a 21mm socket that would be used on the stock lug nuts.

Autozone won't have them...but Pepboys will, i think...but you are better off at a performance shop or a tire shop.
