I have a 97 SE with a tan cloth interior. I need to replace a headrest and I want to make sure that if I buy a "tan head rest from a 4th gen maxima" there is no chance of it being a different "tan" than what I have. Basically, I need to know if there were any variations in the "tan interior" color on any of the 4th generation maximas regardless of year or trim level.

GXE supposedly has a more yellowish tint to it than the SE, and GLE has no cloth interior since it comes standard with leather.

 

Anyone have photos of the difference in the SE and GXE tan cloth?

bump. I'm just looking for either comparison pictures of a 97 SE Tan Cloth interior vs. a 96 GXE tan cloth interior OR someones experience of whether or not the coloring/pattern is the same. I don't want to buy a mismatched headrest.

 

it's not gonna match no matter what.... GXE has cheaper looking cloth than SE. sorry no picture though... but are you looking for headrest for 97 SE tan? i have a whole set of tan cloth
