4th gen & 5th gen stock performance times/specs?

I have a 97 SE and my friend has a 2001 AE. I want to compare there stock 1/4 mile times & speeds, and 0-60 times. I have very little mods and he has none. I've read 5th gens are heavier and that offsets some of the HP gains they have on 4th gens.

Thanks.

I dont like that site at all. I hit 15.0 stock in my car. Their stats are often fu cked up. If you both have manual, it is a driver's race.

To the original poster: what performance mod(s) do you have? If your manuel and he's auto you should win without much of a problem, auto vs. auto and its a close race.

We are both manual. He swears he can beat me by at least a car length in the 1/4 mile, even if I jump ahead in the first second. I'm trying to convince him that his extra 37 hp at the crank is offset by the extra weight of the car. I said my car runs a 15.2s stock 1/4 mile @ about 92mph, and 6.6s 0-60mph. He believes me, but insists his car would then be in the high 14's or a 15.0.
