I need to meve my wheels out almost an 1" and I was wondering if there were any flaring fenders available so my wheels can be flush with the fenders.

Im not sure what site I saw them on but they attach to your fenders to give them a more wide body look. Ask around and Im sure someone will remember. I saw it in the for sale section a while back.

that is done to have more horizontal clearance for large rims.

so does it push the fender out and make it flare out a bit? Is this worth considering?

No, it doesn't flare out your fenders....not the way you want anyway. In short, it's not a solution for your situation.

Noob Q: Can the fender can be flared out without cracking the paint?

For some reason, I thought "rolling fenders" was about rolling up the up the fender lip to prevent physical intereference between the tire and the lip when the tire is pushed up towards the wheel-well.

If a body shop does it correctly, there should be no cracking of paint... you need to heat up the area first basically. StygianMax: I believe that you're correct.
