Hi-flow cat

Any one of you have any advice on what kind of hi-flow cat I should get. Any experience with brands, prices.

Survey says keep the one you've got or gut it.... Not many fans of aftermarket cats here....

Why exactly are there no fans of aftermarket cats here? From what i know you cant go test-pipe unless u have a chipped ECU(ODBII cars)...and from some dynos i seen high-flow cats offer substantial power gains without messing with the ECU.

It just doesn't help much.

Of course you can test pipe, and if your ECU trips, just pull the last O2 sensor, tie it off somewhere and bung plug the hole, so your sensor thinks it's getting clean air.

Also the dyno graph from Random added their cat + a greddy catback, look at the details.

Then again, I've got a Random Cat

def. stick with stock or gut it if anything, i bought a carsound cat and nothing on my car has been more of a headache then that thing, o2 sensor acually broke off the cat, all the stuff inside broke so i had to hollow it and for some reason it still makes an obnoxious noise...just my opinion but stick with da stock cat, do y pipe and cat back and u'll be fine
