Car care and maintenance Qs

1. What spark plugs should I use for the maxima? the stock OEM "NGK Laser Platinum" spark plugs are ~10$ EACH...is that what I'm supposed to use?

2. Is changing tranny fluid a required maintence step? I didn't see it on the car care guide in the "Shop Talk" or in my owners manual

3. Fuel filter, same as #2...didn't see it as a required step for car maintence? but is it required?

yes use ngk, they are about 10 from the dealer, i paid 11, some people use colder copper plugs for some reason i cant remember.

yes change your fluid

yes change your filter

here are more things you should do: http://web.archive.org/web/200111091...k_service.html

all these things will help to keep you car in general good health, and will improve things like mpg and how smooth your engine runs

good luck
