i got a GXE loaded with a pretty good deck, but now i need speakers to get some quality music goin. i want to avoid an amp and a set of subwoofers, because first, i don't have that kind of money. second, i'm not THAT big of a listening to start "knockin" down the street. I'm thinking of just getting some new speakers. can anyone give me advice on setting up a system? thanks

oh, i think SE/GLE have a set of tweeter speakers or something like that. is there any way that some of those can be installed in my car? thanks

 

I've alway liked the Infinity's in the front, and some big magnet drivers in the back.

Infinities have great clearity and High's. They come in all sorts of econommic ranges. You can probably get some 1" treaters with some 5.5" midranges for the front doors (sorry if that's the wrong size, I havn't looked at mine) That's what I ran In my old 83 accord hatch. As far as the rears go (6 x 9's i think) go for some Blaupunkt 3ways or some Rockford 2ways. That might do you good. If your looking to get some killer sound, you might want to invest in a good amp. The better the amp, the more cleare the sound will be.
