should every auto have the vb mod??

i was at the mobiltek site and man they sure do convince the $#*t out of me into buying the vb mod, but is it worth $450,if i do buy it i wanna buy it for the right reason, if it does knock of .2-.4 of a second then why not right? does anyone feel the firmer shifts like it says? if someone can give me a brief explanation of how the cars speed and feel changed id appreciate it

It doesn't do anything to help you. Its just a placebo. The shifts from 1-2 are firmer. 2-3 and 3-4 feel the same. Get a transmission cooler. That helps.

Woa, people are already swapping the 5spd auto from the 6th gen SE into 4th gens? Thats gotta be pretty sweet, I wonder if it would handle the power of a SC.

I ordered it and paid for it one year ago. Don told me as soon as he got a vb core in, he would send it to me, I would swap the core for mine, then I would send my vb to him for modification, he would send back the modded vb and I would send him the core back. Basically, that never happened. I waited and waited.

In the meantime I changed my mind about what I really wanted and converted to 5-speed, so now I had a vb available to send Don. I did that a couple of months ago, and I just got the modded vb back. So now I have a Mobiletek modded vb for sale, no miles since modification, and I don't need your old vb in exchange.
