Im about to order a dash kit from Alta Plus and was wondering if anyone would like to share they're opinions. Im goin to get a 97 GXE this coming monday and its white with black leather interior. Im contemplating now between Carbon Fiber or Brush Aluminum. I like carbon Fiber cuz it's more subtle and blends well with the already black interior, but the Brush Aluminum also would look great because it looks real sporty and a nice shift **** and matching pedals would also look great all together. Any ideas/aluminum? all would be appreciated. thanks!

Actually, I thought that GXE's did not have the leather option. But then again, it could not be a GLE if you say its a 5spd. Maybe its actually a SE?? Do you have white guages?

I'm sure....i think.....

I'm pretty sure it is a GXE because of the following:
-black face gauges
-gold trimming
-no fog lights
-no power seats
-no stock CD player
-no GLE badge
-steel wheels
doesnt that make it sound like a GXE?

Perhaps that the GXE is installed with aftermarket leather?

I have leather seat on my 96 GXE. Some GXE do come with leather. PPL think it's GLE tho, cause I have leather, rim (not steel wheel) and it's auto.
Don't get me wrong, I got the car brand new back in 96. Tho it was only maxima with leather on GXE model at dealer. and I got alpine 3-cd indash changer. and power seat (not heated), 15 inch silver rim (5-spoke).
Only thing it's different from GLE was sunroof, bose and wooden dash (i got aftermarket kit).
Some SE doesn't come with leather, bose, and rarely no fog (my friend got one w/o fog).
