Rims and Tire size

Hey guys,
I want to do 17 x 7 rims. Tire rack says to go with 235 / 45 17 , but another site i went to say 215 /50 17. I need your guys help, I dont want there to be a HUGH gap. What size do other maxima owner's have on their 17's? and do you have pix? SLSO, does it effect your speedometer at all?

thanks!!!

You need 17x7.5 or 17x8. 17x7 is too narrow, it goes on a Civic.

You can mount 235-45s on the 17x7s if you want...Not an issue...

Tire size Calculator

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

This is an excellent site. Punch in your current tires, and the size you want to put on... It will give your spedo read-out.

I had 205/65-15, now 215/55-16, and my speedo reads 0.6% over... nothing to worry about... when i go ot 225/55/16 it will be 0.7% under i think... still no worry. check it out, great tool!
