I know my good friend has a set already, but these lights are not yet available in the US yet. I was wondering if anyone else has their hands on these bulbs. They are a perfect solution to clear lenses. The bulbs have a silver-mirrored exterior, but blink amber when activated. I would really like these for my front bumper signal and tail light signal. Any one is interested, I can try to contact a distributor for a group deal. I figure most people would want two sets, like myself. Currently, the best price I can find is $25 a pair. Not bad for just released and not available in the US.

Dude, I don't think SilverVision is a bulb >>

According to Philip's website, it's the actual lens on the parking/turn signal assembly for the VW Bora/Polo. It's a silver lens that is like a one-way mirror. When light shines through from the backside, it passes through unreflected.

No, I really think it's a bulb

A friend of mine has them and they look a lot like 1156, single filament. The price is kinda steep. I figure after i buy two sets, that's already $50. So I thought if I could buy them in bulk, everyone can get a better price. Hopefully when they are officially released in the US, The price will by half of that.

friend had them on his E36 M3 97...

they blew the fuse on his car ... it was the correct bulb as well ...

its like a blub with a silver coating that blinks orange. It looks very cool, very expensive as well. My thoughts on this is that once APC or another company gets ahold of this Technology prices should start to come down very fast due to the nature of ppl putting clears on their cars. Wait and see what happens

Ok...sorry...I stand corrected. >>

But in my defense, the Philips website said nothing about it being a bulb. My bad...

I had my local install shop do the neon.. its hard wired into the electrical system so there are no ugly wires going to the cig lighter. I had a switch put in my dash for them.
