Did you get the cool blues? Because I can't find the ones for the fog lights.

Does anybody know if there are sylvannia cool blues for the fog lights? If not then what did you get for your fogs to match the headlights?

Sad to say but I'm not a big fan of the ambers on the car....I feel the white lights and clear turning signals give the car a very awesome look. I don't mind taking the time to change them as long as I get the right lights. PLEASE HELP.......I don't wanna goto AutoZone and ask some monkey.....

they dont make them for the H3 application, but you might want to look at some Piaa Xtreme Whites for the Fogs

Clear turning signals, if you mean bulbs, are illegal. If you mean DC clears that is ok...

the corner bulbs are 1157s not sure about the ones that are on all the time in the bumper lenses though. You'll need to rewire the corner lights or else they'll look like crap regardless of what bulbs you have in there. Maybe someone can link the writeup, or tell him which nub to cut off, as I don't remember.

The bumper ones (next to turn signal) are just simple old 194's, while the corner lights are 1157s. I got both off ebay, to go along with my XD5's. Once I get it all, we'll see how they look.

I was talking to the service consultant at my dealership about installing Sylvania cool blue lights in my Max. He said that those lights are famous for burning the power cords, even though they are the same watts as the OEM bulbs. He strongly advised against installing them. Has anyone had a bad experience with these bulbs or any other brand?

never heard that but i installed an upgraded harness anyway to make them brighter and take away any chance of burning out the stock wires

im almost positive you cut the top nub off and put the bottom nub where the top nub used to fit in the socket......very simple

When i had Sylvania CB's i had no problems To match them i got Wagner Lazer Blues from Napa like $23 for the pair. The wagners blew in a few months so now i use Optilux blue since theyre $5.88 each. Not as good as the wagners though. In the last 50,000 miles ive gone through 2 stock bulbs, 2 wagners, and 3 optilux H3.
