its not worth is, the downpipe produces the same gains and the headers are alot harder to install. so, just get a downpipe

They just look polished. But you won't see any significant power gains, not worth it.

Are these shorty headers, if they are i think they are worth $250 ,most people dont see it this way but think about it people pay $500 to save 30lbs with a carbon fiber hood , But for $250 ill bet youll save 15-20lbs and gain a couple horse. But i buy for enhanced speed , nothing for looks.

Sorry, this is a pretty noobish question, but apparently with those headers linked in the original post, they get connected to the Y-pipe? right?. Also, about how long would it take an exhaust shop to install those?

I think OBX sells headers that I think look better. People will always speculate about gains with headers. I think that it should improve high end performance as most ported and polished parts do. You should have a dyno done before and after. Just imagine... posting results. Sorry to flame.

I think that the oem headers are a better choice. Of course, that is after a little bit of grinding and maybe a little coating on the inside. Not only is it more cost effective(minus the ceramic coating), but cast iron also does a lot better job of retaining heat. It is also more durable. So, personally, I am going to just stick w/my y-pipe and modify my stock headers.
