Finally installed my Injen from the last GB last year with Alex and cleaned my throttle body at the same time. Car runs great and also is very quiet. But I notice a faint tock...tock...tock sound (like tick tock from a clock) coming from the right side of the throttle body. All my connections and wiring seems to be OK and I don't have a CEL. Anybody have any experience with this sound, and should I be concerned? Thanks!

 

do you hear this sound after you turn the engine off? if this is the case, then it is your exhaust manifold contracting... which is normal.

May be the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve) ticking..... Its on the right side of the Throttle Body......

 

I had that sound sound after installing my Injen and cleaning my throttle body. It happened for 3-4 days, but I haven't noticed it for the last week or so. Just installed it 2 weeks ago.

 

I installed my injen this week and also noticed the sound, it hasn't gone away but I hear it more on the driver's side

 

How about some feedback from people who had their Injen on for awhile.Any help, anybody?
