walbro fuel pump - how much can it support?
walbro fuel pump - how much can it support?
has anyone here experienced problems with the walbro 255 h.p. fuel pump not being able to supply enough fuel (at high hp levels)?
how would you check/know? how about putting a fp gauge on return line to the tank or would that read low anyways considering its dumping straight into the tank.
i'm running lean (detonation) on a nitrous express kit (wet of course).. which should be taking care of fuel supply on its own - only thing i could figure is fuel pump can't keep up. I am trying one other thing also is regapping plugs(-1step) to smaller.
do the higher hp guys run that, or other (bosch external?) fuel pumps?

Re: walbro fuel pump - how much can it support?
Last year I ran a 150 shot on a 255 HP Walbro with no reduction in pressure. Is you pressure dropping? If so what is it? Or are you just experiencing detonation?
What plugs are you using? What is the gap now? What octane fuel are you using?
Can't think of anymore right now but thats a start.
