Seized Calipers?? I think??
Has anyone with a 4th Gen had any problems with their rear calipers. I recently replaced my rotors and pads and noticed that the rear calipers were a bit tight. I tried and tried to compress the calipers to push the fluid back into the master cylinder but the rear calipers wouldn't budge. To make a long story short I ended up putting the old pads back on the rear because I could not buy enough room to put the new ones on. I was just wondering if this means that my calipers are seized? What can I do, are they shot?

You need to twist them back in. They will not compress like the fronts do. There are two nubs that you can get a good set of needle nose pliers onto to twist it back. Or just buy a caliper tool at a local automotive supply store.

Get a caliper tool. You cannot compress the rear piston. You can do a Rent a tool at an AutoZone store. They let you use the tool for free, just need a credit card to secure it.
If the pads are extremely worn, they will be difficult to turn in.
Good luck, it is not too bad!
