To all with KYB dustboots...

Is there something wrong with the picture below? I believe an OEM bumpstop is sitting ontop of the KYB dustboot/bumpstop, should that be there? A buddy of mine at Merchant's put these on and I'm not sure if the that is an OEM bumpstop and if it should be left there (would it limit travel any since it's above the notch in the shaft)?

The KYB boots have bumstops built in. You have severly limited suspension travelw ith that setup. Remove the OEM stops.

I was hoping that since they were above the notch in the AGX shaft it wouldnt matter but I guess it does. Do ya think I could cut those puppies off?

Yes, you can just cut them with a sharp razor. Your ride will change once you fix that mess up.
