intake question

i want a intake and was thinking about the cai. i heard that they make a piiisssssss noise with metal pipe i guess thats what its from... wondering if place racing and ingen and the cheap one that u can buy on ebay are all the same intakes and make that same noise and give the same power gains... beacause place racing and ingen are pricey was thinking of getting the ones on ebay for like $50.. what do u guys think14

Just bought a $70 intake off ebay, im putting it on this weekend. The problem with e-bay intakes is you have to drill a hole in the fender to install the air filter, on injens you dont have to.

Uh, this isn't only a problem with the eBay intakes. It's a "problem" with all cold air intakes. If you want real cold air, you have to cut. If you want something else, you don't.
