MEVI people with GM map/baro switch - pls read

The GM map/baro switch comes with the power prongs hidden under a little plastic piece, into which a plug needs to go into, no doubt. But it does not come with the plug for the positive and ground wires to splice into... how did you guys tackle that issue?

Thanks for any help.

I think that I may have that one, but I do not know. Do you have a picture of it? I know that my switch had some sort of prong thingies on it that an electrical harness plugged into. All I did was cut that connector off and it exposed two wires. It doesn't matter which wire you wire up for ground and positive. So, just find the two wires and you are set.

Yep that's what I did too... but it looks like a half-a$$ed job the way I hooked the wires up to those prongs... so I was wondering if someone else had a better way.

I have the GM part # 199... whatever the rest is...

I dunno if it would be a better idea to get the Nissan map/baro switch off a Pulsar or something so that there is a proper connection.
