Cleaning Gold Emblems

Does anyone know how to clean or pollish Gold Emblems? Some of my gold emblems are turning silver in some spots. Is it possible to pollish them, or has the gold been worn off for good? I'm guessing from car washing. Please help... It's really annoying me!

it can't be polished back to gold but i took some mother aluminum polish and used it on my gold emblems, and they turned out silver. happy mistake i guess. but if you want your emblems to be gold again, you'll probably have to order new ones.
