Battery?

This winter i stored my car and i would start it up everyweek or so and to get things going... problem is one day went to start it and it was totally dead? so i call my buddy up who is pretty good with car.. (is a go for at a local garage) and checked everything out. He said it isnt the alternator because when i start it up i can disconnect the negative cable and it still runs.. so when i parked it from then on out i always disconnect the negative cable!

SO is it because my battery isnt fully chargin? I drove it everyday when it was nice out and never had a problem.. i have alil stereo and air ride suspension but i had the for 3 months before the problem

should i get a bigger and better battery? bigger alternator?

please help

When you would start the car, how long would you let it run? Would you let it get up to full temprature? You may not have been letting the car run long enough to charge the battery.
