not possible

the springs you bought from eibach are different than the ones you get with the sleeve. the stock springs are wide like the ones you have from eibach. the ones you get from ground control aremuch narrower. your springs that you have will not work with the sleeve because the spring id too big for them. i now because a have the ground controls and i have the car down 3.5 in.

hows the ride on the ground controls? I've been lookin into coilovers and was wondering why some cost 2x sometimes more than others ie the cattman ones. Does this have to do with quality of the product or harshness of ride? If you had to do it all over again would u go with ground control, and how easy was the install? just curious... thanks in advance.

coilovers

groundcontrol coilovers are $399.00 for the max, then buy shocks /struts, another $300-$450, then get camber plates, another $300, add that up, thats $1000 plus. cattman's come with everything.

Oh I see. I thought coilovers were springs plus shocks/struts combined as one unit. What are coilovers then? and how do they differ from other regular progressive rate springs besides being narrower.

ground control coilovers

ill being putting in a pic of my car soon. this way you can see the difference in the lowering of the car. as for the ride quility, it good as long as the road is good. if you are driving on rough roads it can get a bite rough and bouncy. the install is pretty simpy. i had a guy do it for me for $100. the handleing is great too. it will be even better once i install the stb, rstb, and rsb. i have taken soon mean turns so far, but it does get tricky when you start losing your rear end in a turn doing 130 mph. if your looking for just the lowering the gc would work, but if you want full control of ride/hieght, the cattman should be a better choice. i am planning on changeing over to the cattman soon. if your interseted in my gc and tokico struts let me know. gc run for $399 unless they when up in price. the tokicos run about $140 each for the front and $115 each for the rear. hope this helps.

One advantage of coilovers is that generally, when you add up all the weight, they are much lighter than the OEM strut/spring assembly --

Less unsprung weight = better ride --

while we are talking coilovers:

I heard that cattman coilovers are not as good as other coilovers because they only have one spring, and good coilovers have two spings (because of the adjustable ride hight factor...) anybody want to agree or disagree?

Yeah i just had a kind of bad experience with ground controls. I put em on this weekend and they forgot to put the o-rings that go around the struts in the box. I gotta give em a call and have em send out a set. I installed em myself this weekend and when you drive the make all kind of squeeking noises. At fast speeds they are excellent but at low speeds they make all of the sounds. I also installed a rear sway bar which together makes the car out handle the tires easily One thing i gotta say is these things definetly need aftermarket struts, DO NOT install em without a set, way to bouncy.
