Keyless Entry Setup Instructions

I have an extra keyless entry remote and I want to program it to work with my car. Does anyone have instructions on how to do this?

get in the car and lock the doors. Put the key in and take it out in rapid succession 5-7 times, I think it is six. Turn the ignition to ACC and press the remote button, any of them I think.
