Whenever I start my car, my airbag light stays on for 2 or 3 seconds more. I don't know if its a big deal, because it does turn off and it hasn't ever turned on while driving. Who else has their light stay on a few extra seconds when they start their car?

 

I believe the airbag light stays on for a short period after ignition as a diagnostic tool to ensure it's working properly, totally normal. Only when it remains on for an extended period of time do you have an issue.
