I wrapped my SS Warpspeed pipe a couple of months ago, just the flex section. It made a difference in some of the sound from the pipe. I was getting cricket/VW Beetle sounds, eventhough the newer pipes are supposed to eliminate this. About two weeks ago I wrapped most of my y-pipe, from just below the O2 sensors all the way back to the catalytic converter, this was what I was looking for . My car is very quiet now compared to when the y-pipe was unwrapped, this is specially evident when the car is cold, this was the time when the noise was more apparent/louder. Now it just sounds alot smoother, I highly recommend this if you are getting these sounds. I still get a little bit of noise, more of a woosh, but I am very happy with the decrease in noise. Some people worry about rust, others do not. Even if I have to buy another pipe a few years down the road the decrese in the noise it originally produced to me is worth it.
