slow? a maxima is mad slow.......anyone who makes a max go fast is stupid.....nuff said
if you want fast/ put the $2X,XXX on a used 94-97 supra TT and have about 10,000+ left for a nice body kit and a hot paint job
I haven't spent near 20k on mine and with 15s I'll kill a Max with 20s, unless they have nos or forced induction. A Max isn't that slow unless you have an auto.

If I wanted FAST, I sure as HELL wouldn't be wasting money on Supra. A Supra is an horrible drag racing platform and big power Supras are damn near deadly because power is like a switch, either on or off.

Dave
True but I would want one because they are stupid fast.

........and because Supras are madd tight, yo

1HotMax-
If modded Maximas are so slow, how can you explain Mardigras 11-second Maxima? All he has is the basic bolt-ons, SC, 2.6" pulley, 35-shot of nitrous, and some ECU/timing work. Granted he has about $8-9K in mods, but his car only cost him $15K new. He's sporting around in a very rare and orginal 11-second Maxima for the price of what you'd pay for a stock good condition 95+ Supra TT that runs mid to high 13s. To get a Supra TT to run 11s takes some $$$ work assuming you want to keep the TT setup. You can always go with the single turbo, but you'll be looking at about $6K upfront. Getting high 12s out of the Supra TT is easy, but anyting more than that and you've got to pay $$$$ to play.
