2 questions, 1 thread.....

1. When does the light come on for low gas? Is it when you have 2 gallons left or something else?

2. Is it true that when you switch incorrectly it f***s up the engine? For example, I'm getting off the highway going 30 or so on the exit ramp in 5th, someone told me that is very bad for the engine? Also, when I switch, being that i'm an inexperienced driver, the car "rattles" because I don't hold the clutch down long enough before I give gas, is that also bad for the engine? What is the corret way of driving stick so that I don't do any damage to the engine; also, by what I just described, if this indeed does damage something, what exactly is getting damaged? I probably should of learned to drive on a worse car than this, but too late for that.....
any advice would be appreciated

sounds like your keep having your rpms too low and boggin it down. your probably letting out the clutch too fast or your rpms are dropping too low causing it to shake

definitely learn to drive stick. There is no need to drive it like an indy car on the exits or anything, so don't! Take care when shifting
