Actually, the sock idea might not be too bad...... or invest in a good pair of driving gloves...... THey will keep you from burning your hand in summertime and keep them a little bit warm in wintertime

I second this. You have no idea, until you try, just how much of a difference the sun shade makes.

I have one that's a silvery nylon material that has two circular wire frames inside it. Covers the entire windshield, and with a quick flick of the wrists, and folds small enough to fit under the passenger seat. Cost me about $8.

buy a can of dustoff keyboard spray and when it gets really hot just spray it with it. It should drop the temp by like 80% maybe more

if you hold that can of that keyboard spray upside down, and spray, it will dispense a stream of liquid oxygen
it is so cold it can freeze water instantly...two qucik sprays and your know will be nice and cool! lol, i use it on my leather seat b4 i get in in the summer, adn on my steering wheel... keep it under the seat when not in use...and make sure that none of ur friends, crush it with the seat...that happened to me, the thing whizzed around the car, and thankfully shot out the window!

I just use a golf club cover on mine. . . I found it in a rental and it looks like a ****ed off siamese cat. . . it keeps my chrome **** cool enough, but I do get a lot of comments on it when people get in the car.

I think it's time for you guys to upgrade to the advanced new water cooled shift ****. All your problems would be solved.
