Pathfinder TB was put back on again today ,i was going to put it on 3 weeks ago but somebody rear ended my car and took off but everything is fixed now after 17 days. The problems i was having with the TB were high idle, hesitation, surging and bogging and lean conditions. The one problem was that i failed to relize the TPS has to be set to the continuity and noncontinuity, while using feeler gauges (explained in haynes manuel) from pathfinder settings to maxima settings.Second this poblem mixed with the other problem created the problems that i had,my 2001 PFTB has a idle air control valve on it which was probably fighting with the maxs one. for some reason mardigrasmax TB did not have this i dont know why , the dealer said all 2001 have it. I just took the 1/2 lb of junk off and plugged the vaccum hole .
I have to say without a dought there is a nice power gain from idle to redline the intake has a deeper sucking sound when you get on it and actually seems more quiet at idle. IM sorry i dont have pictures or dynos at this time.

Did you port match the tb to the intake manifold?

excellent, if dyno and track times show gains you may have the next maxima mod to have.

I'm very interested in this mod because I think with my car's breathing abilities (MEVI/JWT), the VQ is being held back by the TB.

Kris-

1) are you still selling the mounting plates?

2) does your cruise control still work, etc?

Yeah, it does give you a nice gain!! Although I designed my new manifold around the throttle body so that it doesn't look out of place.
