How do I get the door panel off?

Yeah, how do I get the front passenger side door panel off? I unscrewed the bottom and pretty much unhooked it but the door seems either screwed or stuck towards the center, IE where the door handle is. Do I just need to get rough with it or am I missing something idiotically simple? Thanks for the reply, I need the answer ASAP!

If you already pulled off the door panel at the sides and can wiggle it around, it is being held on by the interior door handle trim. You can either wiggle and pull the door panel until the trim piece falls off (safest way). Or you can get a flathead and pry it out. But when you pry it out, make sure you are applying pressure at the back of the trim piece where it is most unlikely to crack. Do not try prying the piece out by the edges, that is asking for trouble.

You need to unscrew the bottom, unscrew the side door cup, and take out the side handle trim and then unsnap the sides with a flathead and then pull up and out.

thanks for your replies guys, like an idiot it hit me that the search now works and found a great write up for it.

As for changing my side view mirror, the "easy" job took me about 6 hours to do. After getting the mirror from the junkyard I realize one of the screws was stripped. I go back and am told that it will still hold perfectly fine and I realize I won't be getting anywhere with them and accept it. After going crazy to get the door off (getting the plastic off the door handle is a *****) I finally go in for the install and I strip another screw! So only one screw to hold is really unacceptable so I attempt to drill it out - not a good idea. So I get the idea to swap the part that attaches to the door from my broken mirror to the good mirror, but the wires were very uncooperative. After 6 hours of messing around, getting tools and tinkering, its installed and functioning fine. There is alittleodd gap, but I was too beat to take everything off to correct it, so for now its fine! Thank god for the org...
