Passing Emitions with Exhaust

I have to go for emissions testing this month. I have a budget Y and a OBX catback exhaust. Do you guys think I will pass or should I put the stock muffler back on? Is there anything I can do to increase my chances for passing?
Thanks,
Dan

The stock muffler won't change a danm thing, the Y pipe makes it a bit more difficult to pass, but just make sure to get the car nice and warm before you go in for the test. If anything put the stock Y back on if you still have it.

If they put the car on a rack to examine for leaks, they'll notice the aftermarket Y-pipe.

If the car sits on the ground, you might get away with it if you got the car warmed up.

I'm surprised that nobody has offered a Y-pipe with pre-cats installed. A lot of the restriction on the stock pipe comes from the junction of the two banks. I guess at that rate it would be $100/HP. It would be expensive but there are plenty of people out there that love to burn money on car stuff.

This is what they told me to do... Make sure you drive for at least a half hour before taking your car to the emissions station... you should be able to pass with no problems... there are alot of guys who pass who thought they wouldnt...
