Sup yall!
My dad just bought me a 1996 gxe 5spd...It looks so sweet...i have never seen a GXE like this. I found it in the houston chronic. I called the guy and he was asking 4950. I told my dad and he was like whatever and didnt really care. I started talking to the guy on the phone and asking about the history about the car. He said no accidents, no floods. So i gave my friend a call and he checked the car on carfax...He looked and the car was clean...I kept on talking to the dealer and i was like how many miles does the car have on it. He said 87650. I was like and you are selling it for $4950 with 87650miles he said, yes...So i started begging my dad to check it out. So he did and our mechanic said it was an excellent shape. I was excited b/c we perviously had a "96 max auto with 90000 miles and we sold it for 6k and before that we had a 1990 max auto..."So Maximas RULE"...So once the mechanic said it was in good condition my dad started dropping the price.. So we got the car for $4500, with 87650miles on it...I will be posting more on this site asking yall information on what should i do to the car...

I'm not really sure how to add an image, so if yall want me to send you a picture of it here is my Aim SN.

start a webpage at cardomain.com in order to upload your pictures. Then, just do {img}location{/img}. Replace the {} with [] and leave the /. it's so easy!

That was a little bit of sarcasm at work. It doesn't take very long at all. Especially when you have high-speed internet access! I am still working on getting pics for mine, but getting the page started wasn't hard

You got a great price on a great car. If you want to hang on to the money in your pocket, you best stay away from this forum. Once you get the mod bug, you're doomed. Welcome to the .org!

hey maxima95tuner thanks for posting up the picture. Has anyone here seen GXE that looks like mine. I had a 96 max auto GXE and it didn't come with the fog lights, rims nor the spoiler.

Well, those rims are apparently aftermarket... As for the spoiler and fog lights, if it is in fact a GXE then they were added later most likely.

The rims have a nissan emblem on them. The inside is not leather, it is plain and simple. If im not mistaking only the GXE models come without leather. Ya I think the spoiler and the fogs were added to the car.. Less things for me to do in the future.

you can get SE's without leather too.... GLE's are the only ones that come standard with leather

My SE has the nasty tan cloth interior. And the nissan emblem on teh rims is probably just a cap that was put on them.
