newbie question...needs answers.. :(

i live in seattle washington and im deciding whether to put a cai on my 96 gxe but one member on the board suggested a short ram instead because it rains too damn much here.whats the difference?what are the advantages and disadvantages of each?do i get the same hp gain with a short ram?

I have a frankencar intake. www.frankencar.com It sounds awesome. I think that if it rains too much, and floods, get the ram air intake. The CAI will just suck up the water. Plus, with the ram intake, you don't have to cut out a piece of your wheel well! Just my opinion. Some will recommend either or. My preference was the easier install intake!

"Word"

I believe both of them offer the exact same HP. Why wouldn't you just install the one that is easier, and less destructive?
I have the frankencar intake also...
