How can i tell if my shocks/struts are bad?

as the subject says...how do I know and when is the time to get them replaced? I have 65k miles on 95 GLE. thanx

If you've been driving your car for a long time, you should know how the car handles and you should feel it when the car doesn't handle like it used to. The ride usually gets bouncier...

You can get your suspension checked for free at Midas (some like to charge you, but some don't). I got my mom's checked there for free, but when I went to a different one, they said it would be $50. I think CarX does it for free too.
