How much for new windshield?

Yeah, so me and Pezking were in my car I was being goofy and punched the windshield. To my dismay it spider-cracked pretty bad. The funny thing is I wasn't even mad and I barely hit the damn thing, but I had my windows up and the A/C on. I guess it is all pressure and air density. So can anyone give me a ballpark on how much this would run me? Thx in advance.

id say approx., $175.00 for any car.

You gotta call and bs with em and get a few quotes then call em back with a better price. I wont pay more than 175.00 for my Max. Glass is glass.

i accidently spidered mine in my old lowrider truck too. I know what you mean by not even hittin it hard. you prob. hit around the middle too huh..
is the glass sagging inside yet?

Yeah, I was thinking around $200. The point of impact was just below the sun tint, it just happened like 2 hours ago so no, it is not sagging.

Most insurance will let you have 1 new windshield a year. Check your policy and talk with them if you have Comp insurance.

Yes, there's no deductable on glass if you have glass coverage. Check your policy.

I know my insurance company does not increase your rates for a glass claim.

Not sure about how many you get per year, or if there is a limit. I've had a few replaced along the way and also a rear window for a Windstar that cost $1000!

I wouldn't bother the insureance becuase it works like this, You bothe3r them for one claim and they file it and you bother them for another claim and they file it and you have an accident and they will be reluctant to give you EVERYTHING you deserve because your a high risk customer and also your rates will increase but the next time your renew not immedietly.
MY friend works for State Farm and that's what he told me, Also i don't know where you live but that's the policy fro NY, IT's very Strict over here.

I would just have someone install it and pay the money and wow 20 mins, mine took like 40 mins.
