Question : Heater and Air Conditioner have always been week...

Looking for opinions...
My heater and A/C have always been wimpy. The car runs great, I don't know of any problems, it never overheats, never runs too cool, and I just had the A/C charged.
Don't get me wrong, they both work, but just very 'gentle'.

Can I flush a 'heater core' or something like that to get a better heat exchange?? Is there anything to flush?? Or are the systems forever maintenance free?

In the winter it takes about 20 minutes to warm up the car.
In the summer (when over 28c) the car will never cool.

How do your cars compair?

Thanks for the input!!

That's what I'm saying. If it's really hot out, then I'm better off just putting the windows down.

My A/C blows ice cold.

You can help speed up the cooling process by using a windshield sun shade while your car is parked. Also try to find some shade on really hot days.

If your car takes a long time for heat to come up or it doesn't blow very hot, you may just need a new thermostat.
