weak a/c

weak a/c

the a/c system only gets cold if i'm rollin but warms up sitting at at a light or something and yes it's been charged and no leakes cause i check it regularly just in case of the leaking possibility

had the same problem last weekend i went to wrecking yard and picked up a compressor for $100.00 oiled it up and put it in then recharged it. now im freezin on hot days i love it. I had 2 mechanics tell me i had a bad compressor and it was going out they wanted $600.00 i spent around 150.00

Also check that BOTH cooling fans are working when the AC is turned on. My '96 had the passenger fan quit working, and the AC was fine at highway speeds, but got very warm at stoplights. Hope this helps.
